Where to Find the Text Function?
To find the text function in excel open excel and click on the “Blank” to open a blank excel worksheet now click on the ‘Formula Tab’ and under ‘Function Library’ click on the ‘Text’ option as shown below:

You can also see the text function via shortcut key – press ‘ALT + M + T’ after that select the text function that you want to use.
What is Excel LOWER Function?
The Excel LOWER function Converts all uppercase letters in a text string to lowercase. It ignores space, numbers, and punctuation.
Syntax
LOWER(text)
Converts all uppercase letters in a text string to lowercase.
Arguments
The LOWER function syntax has the following arguments:
Text: Required. The text you want to convert to lowercase. LOWER does not change characters in text that are not letters.
Understand With Example

In this way, you can convert text into lower case. In the above example, you can see that we used cell reference of the text like C4 instead of that you can use the formula in this way =LOWER(“RAM”) the output will be ram.
