In this article, we will see that how we can register (Register for COVID Vaccination) on the COWIN Portal and Schedule your appointment. So let’s see each and every step in the detail.
Register for COVID Vaccination
To register on the COWIN Portal visit the “https://www.cowin.gov.in/” click on the ‘REGISTER/ SIGN IN in the top right corner.
Now enter your mobile number and click on the ”Get OTP”. Enter the OTP received on the mobile number. You will get the screen like the one below show
Now click on the “Register Member” after that select or insert the following fields:
1. Photo ID Proof – Select Any from the list – 1. Aadhar Card 2. Driving License 3. PAN Card, 4. Passport 5. 6. Pension Passbook, 7. NPR Smart Card, 8. Voter ID, 9. Unique Disability ID, 10. Ration Card With Photo.
2. Enter the Document Number– Like if you selected Aadhar then here enter the Aadhar number – ID number of the selected ID proof in the 1st option.
3. Name As per Selected Document – Like if selected the Aadhar then name as per Aadhar – name as per the ID proof selected in the first option.
4. Select the Gender
5. Year of Birth – Type the year of birth.
Now click on the “Register Button”, you will get the message on the screen that you had been successfully registered for the vaccine and you will also get a text message.
Schedule Vaccination Solt
To schedule, your appointment click on the “Schedule” button. Now you can book an appointment dose via using your PIN (Area PIN Code)or via “Search by district”
The search result will appear like below shown:
The green and yellow ( very few) boxes indicate that vaccination is available. You need to click on that, select the time slot, and click on the confirm button.
Now your vaccination slot is scheduled. Download the Appointment schedule and show it in the vaccination center.
If by chance it is not possible to get on the scheduled date then you can reschedule your appointment for vaccination.
