How to Upload Tax Audit Report-Form 3CA | 3CB | 3CD?


Step by step process to upload Tax Audit Report – Form 3CA | 3CB |3CD


Create Account on e-filing Portal- Register As a Chartered Accountant

Visit the e-filing portal

‘https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home’ after that click on the ‘Register Yourself’ button and Select User Type ‘Chartered Accountants’ as shown below:

After that click on the ‘Continue’ button and you will be redirected to Registration Form – Chartered Accountants Registration. Enter the following details:

Membership No. *
Enrollment Date (DD/MM/YYYY) *
Choose
Personal Details
PAN of the Principal Contact *
Surname *
Middle Name
First Name
Date Of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) *

Fields marked with asterisk(*) are mandatory.

After that click on the continue button and complete all the steps and activate the account using the link received on the e-mail.


Assessee/ Client Login on e-filing portal

Visit the e-filing portal ‘‘https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home’‘ and click on the ‘Login Here’ button and enter the following details

User ID *, Password * , Captcha Code Enter Captcha * and click on the ‘Login’ button


Add CA in Assessee Account

After the assessee login to the e-filing portal click on the ‘My Account’ and click the option ‘My CA/ERI’ and enter the following details:

PAN is auto-populated, Membership Number, Name of CA, Form Name, select the Assessment year

After that click on the ‘Submit’ button. You will see the popup ‘CA has been added successfully to your profile. Transaction ID 82153366255’ as shown below


Login With CA ID to Upload the Form 3CA | 3CB | 3CD

Visit the e-filing portal ‘‘https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home’‘ and click on the ‘Login Here’ button and enter the following details

User ID *, Password * , Captcha Code Enter Captcha * and click on the ‘Login’ button.

Now click on the ‘e-File’ option and click on the ‘Income Tax Forms’ as shown below

Now the Income Tax Forms will appear in that add the following details:

User ID – Auto-populated, Enter the PAN/TAN of the Assessee, PAN of CA, Form Name, select the submission mode, Filing Type, select the Assessment Year, Enter the UDIN.

Click on the ‘Continue’ button. Now ‘Upload Income Tax Offline Forms’ screen will appear. Upload the following details:

Attach the XML form [Form 3CA|3CB|3CD as applicable], Attach the signature (Digital Signature of CA), Upload the balance sheet (PDF), Profit Loss Statement (PDF) and click on the ‘Submit’ button

After that click on the ‘Submit’ button you will get message/popup ‘Upload Form- Form 3CB has been uploaded and the transaction ID is 12XX2633666X’.


Approval by Assessee- Login

Visit the e-filing portal ‘‘https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home’‘ and click on the ‘Login Here’ button and enter the following details

User ID *, Password * , Captcha Code Enter Captcha * and click on the ‘Login’ button

After that click on the ‘Worklist’ option after that click on the ‘For Your Action’ option as shown below

Now Go to view forms in the ‘View uploaded form details’. You will see the details of the form uploaded by CA accept that and attach the Digital Signature (DSC of Assessee/Client) and click on the submit button.
