In the previous post, we saw ‘Quick Start Guide for Beginners | Learn MS PowerPoint 2016′, now we will learn to create a presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.


Create a blank presentation

To create presentation first launch Microsoft PowerPoint

Open from Start Menu

Click on Start Menu -> #and Select Letter “P” you will find a PowerPoint icon click on that to open. Click on Blank Presentation to start a new one, See Below

Launch through Command Prompt (CMD)

Press “Windows button + R” after that type “Powerpnt” and press enter then It will open. Click on Blank Presentation to start a new one. See below

After that select the ‘Blank Presentation’ and start typing.

Click to add title and to add subtitle.

Add title as ‘My First Presentation’ after that click on the ‘Design’ tab and select the ‘themes’ or you can press ‘ALT’ after that press the ‘G’ key and select the theme you may like.

From the ‘Home’ tab you can change the font of title to do that click on the ‘Home’ tab and under the ‘Font’ group select the font type or it’s size.

In the same ‘Font’ group you can make your title bold, italic, underline, text-shadow, character spacing, text color.

To insert a picture in your presentation click on the ‘Insert’ tab after that click on the ‘Pictures’ option and select anyone 1. This Device, 2. Online Pictures under the ‘Images’ group.

From the ‘Insert’ tab, you can add table, SmartArt, Charts, Shapes, Links, special symbol, video, audio, etc.


Create Presentation From Theme

To create presentation first launch Microsoft PowerPoint

Click on Start Menu -> #and Select Letter “P” you will find a PowerPoint icon click on that to open.

Click on the ‘New’ and select the theme that you want to use after that click on the create button or simply double-click on the theme.
