In the previous post, we saw ‘How to Create a Presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint?’, now we will learn to Choose the Right View for the Task in PowerPoint.
Where to Find View Options?
To view this option first launch Microsoft PowerPoint
Click on Start Menu -> #and Select Letter “P” you will find a PowerPoint icon click on that to open. Click on Blank Presentation to start a new one, See Below

After that select the ‘Blank Presentation’ or open your own presentation file.
Click on the ‘View’ tab from the ‘Presentation Views’ you can select various views as per the need as shown below

Normal view
You can use the normal view to Create and edit your slides Or, you can select Normal from the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the ‘View’ tab under ‘Presentation View’ select ‘Normal’ option or you can select from bottom of the screen
Outline view
Outline view in PowerPoint displays your presentation as an outline made up of the titles and main text from each slide.
Each title appears on the left side of the pane that contains the Outline tab, along with a slide icon and slide number. The main text is indented under the slide title. Graphic objects appear only as small notations on the slide icon in the Outline view.
Click on the ‘View’ tab and then select the ‘Outline View’ or press ‘CTRL + SHIFT + Tab’ to switch between the Outline and Normal View in PowerPoint

Slide Sorter view
See all of your slides on one screen and rearrange them.
To enable the Slide Sorter view Click on the ‘View’ tab after that click on the ‘Slide Sorter’ option

Notes Page view
View your speaker notes. To enable the Notes Page view Click on the ‘View’ tab after that click on the ‘Notes Page’ option
Slide Show view
To enable slide show view press ‘F5’ or select Slide Show from the task bar at the bottom of the screen.
